Connect Canopy & Stars to Campiamo

Canopy & Stars and Campiamo exchange calendars using iCal: each side publishes a calendar link and reads the other's on a schedule. A Canopy & Stars booking blocks the dates in Campiamo — and on your website, widget and other channels — and your Campiamo bookings block the dates with Canopy & Stars.

A natural fit for glamping spaces

Canopy & Stars lists individual spaces — a treehouse, a cabin, a shepherd's hut — and calendar sync is built for exactly that shape: one space, one Campiamo pitch type, one unit. Keep it one-to-one and the sync just works. If the pitch type holds more than one unit, the unit-count rules explain what goes wrong and how to restructure.

Step 1: Create the connection in Campiamo

1. Go to Channels in the dashboard sidebar.
2. Find Canopy & Stars and choose Connect.
3. Pick the pitch type this space corresponds to.

Keep the dialog open while you fetch the link from your owner dashboard.

Step 2: Copy your Canopy & Stars calendar link

In your Canopy & Stars owner dashboard, open your space's calendar settings and find the iCal export link. Copy it — it ends in .ics. If you can't find it, the Canopy & Stars owner team can point you to it.

Step 3: Finish the connection in Campiamo

Paste the link into the Calendar link from Canopy & Stars field and save. Campiamo checks the link immediately and refuses anything that isn't a calendar feed, with an explanation.

Once saved, Campiamo shows your calendar link. Copy it.

Step 4: Give your Campiamo link to Canopy & Stars

In the same calendar settings, add your Campiamo link as an imported calendar and name it "Campiamo". Both directions are now connected.

What syncs, and how quickly

Campiamo → Canopy & Stars: all unavailable dates for the pitch type — bookings, manual blocks, closed season, availability windows — published 365 days ahead. How often Canopy & Stars re-reads is up to them.

Canopy & Stars → Campiamo: read every 15 minutes; busy dates become blocks marked "Booked on Canopy & Stars". No booking is created — the calendar file carries no guest details, so the guest and their payment live in your owner dashboard. Cancellations release the blocks on the next sync; Sync now forces an immediate read.

When something is wrong

"That link did not return a calendar feed." — the link isn't a calendar export. Copy the .ics link from your space's calendar settings, not a page address.

Canopy & Stars shows you closed when Campiamo looks free — season and availability-window closures are exported deliberately, so no channel can sell a night you're shut.
