Frequently asked questions
Is it priced in Australian dollars?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed in AUD: Growth is A$59 a month, and the Starter plan is free forever for up to three site types. Your guests pay you in AUD too, straight into your own Stripe account.
Do you take a commission on bookings?
No. Campiamo charges a flat subscription and takes 0% commission on every plan, including the free one. The only other cost is the card processing fee charged by Stripe or PayPal, which goes to them.
How does GST work?
Enter your prices GST-inclusive, the way guests expect to see them. The price you set is the price the guest pays, and their confirmation shows the total paid.
Does it sync with Hipcamp and Booking.com?
Yes. Hipcamp, Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia and Vrbo sync by iCal, so a booking on one blocks the dates on the others and on your own website. Any other platform that offers an iCal feed works the same way.
Can I keep my existing website?
Yes. Drop the booking form or availability search into WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or any HTML site with one line of code. Paid plans also include a full booking website if you would rather replace it.
You are based in the UK. How does support work?
Support is by email and we reply within one business day, which in practice usually means an answer waiting for you in the morning. The documentation covers setup, channels, the calendar and the website step by step, and we migrate your existing bookings for free.
