Agentic commerce for campsites
People are starting to ask ChatGPT and Claude to find and book their trips. Every campsite on Campiamo that takes payments online can already be found, priced and booked by those assistants, with the guest paying you directly and no commission.
How it works
An assistant talks to Campiamo over an open standard called the Model Context Protocol. This is what happens when a guest asks one to book a campsite.
The assistant searches campsites on Campiamo by place, dates, party size and facilities, and reads your description, pitch types, prices, rules and approved reviews.
It checks live availability and gets an itemised quote for the stay: pitch, extras and the deposit due now, from the same calendar and prices as your booking page.
When the guest agrees, the assistant hands them a secure checkout link. They pay you directly, and the booking lands in your dashboard like any other.
What the guest sees
No search page, no form. The guest describes the trip and the assistant does the rest, calling Campiamo for facts and availability and handing over a payment link at the end. Nothing is held until that link is paid.

What you need
There is no plugin, no API key and no extra fee. Two settings decide whether assistants can book you.
Stripe or PayPal under Settings. The guest's payment is the moment they commit, so assistants only start bookings where a payment is taken online. Sites paid on arrival are still found and priced; the guest is sent to your booking page to finish.
Either list your campsite on the free Campiamo directory with one switch on your dashboard, or have your Campiamo-hosted website switched on. Either one makes you visible to assistants.
The assistant sees only what your listing or website already shows. Turn off the directory listing or the website and you disappear from assistants at the same moment.

Why now
