How does the membership rule work at booking?
When the Greener Camping Club is switched on under Settings → Club Membership, every booking asks the guest to confirm their membership. Existing members enter their number. Anyone else ticks 'I need to join' and the club fee, £12 by default, is added to their booking total. A guest cannot book without doing one or the other.
Do I still have to enrol new members with the club?
Yes. The club's register is theirs, and there is no connection into it. Your new-booking email lists anyone who joined at booking, with name and email, so you can add them on the club's site in a few seconds.
Is Campiamo really free for a Greener site?
Yes. The Starter plan has no monthly fee and no commission. It includes the booking page, calendar, card deposits, guest emails, the membership step and up to three pitch types. Paid plans add a hosted website and other extras, and you only move up if you want them.
Can I take deposits?
Yes. Connect your own Stripe or PayPal account, which takes a few minutes and means Campiamo never holds your money, then choose whether guests pay a deposit or the full amount when they book. The membership fee is collected with it.
What if I take bookings by phone as well?
Enter them in your dashboard like any other. The membership step is there too, optional for you, so a booking from a member you know can be saved with or without the number.
