Plans, billing and your subscription
What each plan includes and costs, how to upgrade, downgrade or cancel, what happens to your bookings and website when a plan ends, and the few things that need a word with us.

Campiamo has four plans. Every one of them takes bookings with no commission; the difference is how much of the platform is switched on. One subscription covers your whole account, however many people are on the team.
The plans
| Starter | Growth | Professional | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price per month | Free | £29 / €29 / $39 | £99 / €99 / $129 | £299 / €299 / $399 |
| Price per year | Free | 11 months' worth | 11 months' worth | 11 months' worth |
| Campsites on the account | 1 | 1 | 2 | Unlimited |
| Pitch types | 3 | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Team members (including you) | 1 | 5 | 10 | Unlimited |
| Support | Priority | Priority | Priority |
Australian and New Zealand prices are on the pricing page. The yearly price is eleven times the monthly one, so a year paid up front is a month free.
Starter is free for as long as you like, with no card. It includes the embeddable booking widgets, the direct booking link, extras, review collection and email support. It does not include a hosted website.
Growth adds the Campiamo website with online booking, custom booking fields, review moderation, events and What's On, branded guest emails, tourist tax, a custom price on dashboard bookings, and priority support.
Professional adds a second campsite, unlimited pitch types, channel sync with Booking.com, Airbnb, Pitchup and the rest, discount codes and gift vouchers, the reception POS, occupancy-based dynamic pricing, guest self-service changes, the full email log, your own domain on the website, and removal of the "Sent via Campiamo" line from guest emails.
Enterprise adds unlimited campsites, holiday home management and the reporting suite.
Pitch types are counted across all the campsites on the account. A pitch type can hold any number of pitches, so the limit is about how many kinds of thing you sell, not how big the site is.
Where billing lives
Settings → Subscription (or Manage billing in the menu under your name) is the billing page. Only the account owner can open it; admins and staff cannot. It shows the current plan, the plan list with a monthly/yearly switch, a promo code box, and the last twelve invoices with a download link for each.
Upgrading
Pick a plan and press Upgrade. The first time, you go to a secure card form run by Stripe and come back with the plan active. Prices are charged in your campsite's currency where we have one (pounds, euros, US, Australian and New Zealand dollars); other currencies are billed in pounds.
If you already pay for a plan, moving up happens on the same subscription. You pay the difference for the rest of the current period, and nothing changes until that payment has gone through: the page shows an amber note while it is waiting, and if your bank wants you to confirm the payment we email you a link. Features switch on the moment the payment clears.
Moving from monthly to yearly works the same way: the difference is charged and the yearly term starts.
Have a promo code? Enter it in the box on the billing page before you choose the plan.
Downgrading
Downgrading to a cheaper paid plan, or moving from yearly to monthly billing, takes effect when the period you have already paid for ends. Until then you keep everything in your current plan, and nothing is refunded or credited. The billing page shows the date and the plan you are moving to, with a Keep button that cancels the change if you have second thoughts. Upgrading again before the date also cancels it.
Before you can downgrade, the account has to fit the smaller plan. If you have more pitch types, campsites or team members than it allows, the page says so and the button stays off until you have removed the extras. Nothing is ever deleted for you.
Choosing Starter is a cancellation; see below.
Cancelling
Cancel on the billing page stops the renewal. Your plan carries on until the end of the period you have paid for, the page shows the date, and we send a confirmation email. Change your mind before then and Resume subscription puts everything back as it was.
At the end of the period the account drops to Starter. Then:
- Nothing is deleted. Bookings, guests, pitch types, settings and reviews all stay. You can carry on taking bookings through the widgets and the direct link.
- The hosted website goes offline, because it is a Growth feature. Any custom domain stops working with it. Switch it back on by subscribing again.
- Channel connections, discounts, the reception POS and the other paid features are locked behind an upgrade prompt until you subscribe again. The data behind them is kept.
- If you are over the Starter limits (say, six pitch types), the existing ones carry on working. You just cannot add more until you upgrade.
We do not refund the unused part of a yearly plan, so if you are unsure, start on monthly and switch to yearly once you are settled.
If a payment fails
When a renewal fails, Stripe retries the card over the following days and we email you if the bank wants the payment confirmed. The billing page shows a Pay now link for the open invoice. Your plan keeps working while the retries run. If every retry fails the subscription ends and the account drops to Starter exactly as if you had cancelled; subscribe again to restore it.
Trials and feature grants
There is no automatic trial at sign-up, but we sometimes switch a plan on for a trial period. You see "Trial" against the plan on the billing page with its end date. Three days before it ends you get an email listing what will switch off, and another when it has. Nothing is deleted at the end of a trial; the hosted website is taken offline if the plan you are left on does not include it.
Occasionally we switch on a single feature for an account without changing the plan. When that happens you get an email saying what it is and where to find it, and it stays on whatever happens to your subscription.
Changing the card, receipts and VAT
Invoices and receipts are on the billing page, from Stripe, with the amount and status of each. If you need the card on file changed, or an invoice addressed to a different name or address, open a support ticket and we sort it the same day. There is no self-service card form yet.
Closing the account
There is no delete button in the dashboard, and that is deliberate: a campsite's booking history is the kind of thing people regret losing. To close an account, cancel the subscription if you have one, export anything you want to keep (Exporting arrivals gives you a spreadsheet of bookings with the columns you choose), then ask us through Support. We take the site offline and keep the records for the period our privacy policy describes, after which they are removed. If you want particular data erased sooner, say so in the same ticket.
