Managing holiday homes and their owners

Keep a record of every privately owned holiday home on your park, who owns it, what it costs them to keep it there, and which ones are for sale.

Last updated October 13, 2026

A holiday home on your park is not a booking. It belongs to someone, it sits on the same pitch year after year, and what you need from it is a site fee, the electricity it uses and a tidy record of who to invoice. Campiamo keeps that alongside your touring and glamping bookings, so one dashboard covers the whole site.

Holiday home management is on the Enterprise plan — see pricing. You'll find it under Holiday Homes in your dashboard, with Owners and Invoices beside it.

Adding a home

Click Add holiday home. The record holds:

  • Name and pitch number: how you refer to it, for example Willow Lodge on pitch 42.
  • Model, year, length, width and bedrooms: the make and size. Optional, but they appear on the sales card if you ever list the home for sale.
  • Description: public text, used on the website when the home is for sale.
  • Status: Active (occupied and being invoiced), Vacant (the pitch is empty), Inactive (on the park but not billed, perhaps between owners) or For sale.
  • Owner: pick an existing owner or type a new name, email and phone and the owner record is created with the home.
  • Site fee and utility charges: what the owner pays and how often. Site fees, meter readings and invoices explains these.
  • Guest rentals: whether the owner lets the home out through you. Letting a holiday home to guests covers it.
  • Notes: internal, never shown to the owner or the public.

Only the name and status are required, so a home can go in with the bare minimum and be filled out later.

Each home has its own page with tabs for its details, its invoices, its meter readings and, if it is let to guests, its rentals. Photos added here are used on the website when the home is for sale.

Owners

An owner is a person, not a home: one owner can have two homes, and a home can change hands. The owner record holds their name, email, phone, postal address and your notes.

The owner's page lists their homes, every invoice raised to them and what is outstanding, and a statement: every charge and payment in date order with a running balance, the figure to read out when someone rings to ask what they owe. Draft invoices are not on it, because nothing is owed until an invoice is sent.

The email address matters more than the rest: invoices and overdue reminders go to it, with the link the owner uses to pay online.

The Holiday Homes page

The list shows every home with its pitch, owner, status, site fee and what its owner currently owes, and can be filtered by status. Across the top are the number of homes, the total outstanding and the total overdue across all owners. Overdue money is the thing to glance at each morning.

Listing a home for sale

Set a home's status to For sale and give it a price. Fill in the model, year, size, bedrooms and description, and add a few photos on the home's page, because all of that is what buyers see.

Then put it on your Campiamo website. Under Website Builder → Pages, add or open a page, and in the editor toolbar click Holiday Home. Pick the home, and a sales card is placed in the page: a photo carousel, a For sale badge, the model and year, the size and bedrooms, the description and the price. Change the home's details later and the card updates by itself. A page can carry several cards, one per home, so a "Homes for sale" page is a page with a short introduction and a card for each.

The card only ever shows what you have filled in. A home with a name and nothing else shows just the name, so give a for-sale home the full set before you publish.

There is no enquiry form on the card itself; buyers use your contact page, which is on every Campiamo website. When the home sells, set the new owner on the record, change the status to Active, and take the card off the page.

Try it on the demo

The demo site has five homes with owners, readings and invoices, and one park-owned lodge for sale with a "Holiday Homes for Sale" page on its website. Request demo access to click around it before setting up your own.
