Who we are

The directory at campiamo.com/campsites is run by Campiamo, the company behind the Campiamo booking software that the listed campsites use to take their bookings. You can reach us at hello@campiamo.com or through the contact page.

What the directory is

The directory lets you find campsites and check their availability and prices. When you book, you book with the campsite: the booking form, the confirmation and the payment all belong to the campsite, which uses Campiamo's software to run them. Campiamo is not a party to your booking, is not a travel agent or tour operator, and does not take a commission or a fee from you for a booking made through the directory.

Only campsites that have asked to be listed appear here. Listing is free for them and they can leave at any time.

Listings, prices and availability

Descriptions, photos, facilities, rules, prices and availability are provided by each campsite and are their responsibility. We show them in good faith but do not check them ourselves.

• A "from" price is the campsite's lowest standard nightly rate. The price for your dates and party is shown before you confirm a booking, and that is the price you pay.
• Availability is the campsite's live calendar. A pitch is held for you only once your booking is confirmed by the campsite's booking page.
• Anything specific you need, such as access, a particular pitch or arriving late, should be agreed with the campsite before you book.

Bookings, payments, changes and refunds

Your booking is governed by the campsite's own terms, which are shown on its booking page. Payment is taken by the campsite through its own payment provider; Campiamo does not hold your money. Changes, cancellations and refunds are decided by the campsite under its terms, so for anything about a stay, contact the campsite using the details in your confirmation email.

Booking through an AI assistant

Some listings can be found and booked through AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Claude using Campiamo's booking connector. The assistant can check availability and prices and start a booking for you, but you complete and pay for it yourself on the campsite's booking page. The assistant is not run by Campiamo and its own terms apply to your conversation with it.

Reviews

Reviews on a listing are written by guests after a stay the campsite has recorded, and the campsite approves them before they appear. We may remove a review that is abusive, unlawful or clearly not about a stay. Star ratings and review counts are shown as supplied by the campsite's Campiamo account.

Using the directory

You may use the directory to find and book a stay for yourself or people you are booking on behalf of. You may not copy listings in bulk, scrape the site, make bookings or enquiries you do not intend to honour, or use the enquiry forms to send marketing. We may block access from anyone who misuses the directory.

Our responsibility

We provide the directory free of charge and as it stands. We are responsible for the directory working as described, but not for the campsite's facilities, its descriptions, its prices or your stay, which are the campsite's responsibility. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the directory develops. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the directory after a change, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute about them is for the courts of England and Wales, without affecting your right as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.

Campsite owners

If you run a campsite and use Campiamo, your use of the software is covered by the Campiamo terms of service, not by this page.
