Cookies on the directory
Campiamo Campsites uses a small number of cookies. The ones the site needs to work are always set; the ones that measure how the site is used are set only if you accept them when you first visit.

Cookies the site needs
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| campiamo-session | Keeps your place as you move between pages, for example the dates and party you have chosen. | Until you close your browser |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects the enquiry and contact forms from being submitted by another site. | Until you close your browser |
| cookie_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. | 1 year |
Cookies set only if you accept
These help us see how the directory is used, which pages campers look at and where visitors come from, so we can improve it. None of them are set if you decline.
| Provider | Cookies | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | _ga, _ga_* | Visitor and page statistics. | Up to 2 years |
| Microsoft Clarity | _clck, _clsk | How pages are used: scrolling, clicks and session replays, with typed text masked. | Up to 1 year |
| Meta | _fbp, _fbc | Measures whether people who saw a Campiamo advert visited the site. | Up to 3 months |
| OpenAI | oai_* | Measures visits from Campiamo adverts shown in ChatGPT. | Up to 1 year |
If you decline, Microsoft Clarity may still run without cookies, which means it cannot recognise you between visits.
Campsite booking pages
When you go from a listing to a campsite's booking page, you are on a page the campsite runs with Campiamo's software. Those pages set only the cookies they need to complete your booking, and no analytics cookies.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. This forgets your current choice and shows the cookie banner again.
You can also delete cookies through your browser's settings; the site will keep working, though you may need to pick your dates again.
